The American Association for Justice (AAJ) has launched an ad campaign to inform lawmakers about the inclusion of medical malpractice tort in the healthcare reform bill.
According to the Government Accountability Office and Congressional Budget Office, taking away patients’ rights will not significantly lower health care costs and found no evidence of so-called “defensive medicine.”
AAJ’s ad campaign is part of AAJ’s initiatives to disseminate information about medical negligence and the role of the civil justice system in the current health debate.
