The 7th Circuit has ordered a District Court Judge to dismiss the taxicab’s lawsuit against the City of Chicago, which claimed violation of equal protection as ride-sharing services had not been subjected to the same regulations as the traditional taxicab model. Milwaukee also faced the same challenge by the taxicab industry.
